Lets Start Eye-Makeup for beginners-

2. Eye-shadow Base
3. Eye-shadows (Mid-tone shade, contour shade, Matte Black, Highlighter)
4. Brushes (Blending brush, Flat brush, Eyeliner brush)

Step 1: Start Eye-Makeup with a Eye primer

Always Start Eye-Makeup with a Eye primer. Eye primer helps smooths eye surface and stays Eye-shadow long lasting. After applying eye primer, you should apply an Eye-shadow base that helps make the Eye-shadow stick to the skin better. A concealer or foundation can also apply if you don't have base.

Step 2: Start with different shades

For beginners, you want to start with different shades to pull off an everyday natural look.

• You need a highlighter shade than your skin tone.
• A matte mid-tone shade.
• A 2-3 shade darker than your skin for contour and a matte black shade.
• You can use a facial highlighter too if you have.

Step 3: Grab the essential eye makeup brushes

Take a small flat Eye-shadow brush, a small and a medium sized blending brush and a smudger if you have.

Step 4: Apply Base on Eyes

Apply lightest shade with flat brush on the inner corner of the eyes. This is where most of the product should be and then you can easily blend outwards after. 

Make sure to tap your brush before applying to remove excess product.

Step 5: Apply Highlighter

One most excellent trick you can try: Wet (Dip) the tip of brush with water. Apply the eye-shadow with this brush again in the inner-most corner of the eyes (tear duct area). You will be shocked at how pigmented it is. After this use the same color and highlight arch of eye-shadow.

Step 6: Blend the Eye-Shadow

Now use a blending brush to apply mid tone shade eye-shadow above the crease and blend from the outer corner inwards.

How will you know you didn’t overdo it with the shadow? Hold your brush at the edge of your nose going up to the edge of the eyes. Anything below the line should be clear.

Step 7: Contour the Eyes

Now contour the eye. Apply a contour shade on outer corner while blending into crease on to outer half of the eye. Remember mid-tone shade should always be higher than contour shade so don't blend too high.

Your eyelid makeup is done. Now apply mix shade (mid-tone and contour shade) on the bottom lash line part of eye, starting from outer corner until it meets the highlighter.

Step 9: Matte Eye-Shadow

To complete the look, apply the matte black eye-shadow on the outer corner of the eyes and close to the bottom lash line.

Step 10: Apply Mascara & Eye-liner

Now give a pretty look with curled Eye-lashes or False Eye-lashes and Apply mascara, then eyeliner too.
